Dragon Dictation 2.0 is my new favorite iPhone app. It works amazingly well if you are speaking into your phone normally. Once you are done you have the option of turning the dictated text into an email, text message, or facebook/twitter update. Pretty cool. And totally free.

I was showing off this new app to a couple girlfriends over a bottle of wine when we collectively decided to see what would happen if we started singing into it. Never have I paid so little for such constant, tear-inducing amusement.

Here's what was sung into the phone:
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!

PS: that was just the beginning. once Too Short songs were being sung in full the results were nothing short of glorious. my gut still hurts from laughing.

i love the technique for getting out of this bear sleeping bag. you reach up with your arm and push through the mouth hole in order to unzip. eventually you will split its head wide enough to emerge. yes.

geez, milwaukee...

i sure do miss a good summer storm. it just doesn't happen like that out in san francisco. in fact, in about 8 years of living here, i've seen lightning twice. TWICE! that's a tragedy... and boy-oh-boy i miss me some thunder. the kind of thunder that feels and sounds like the sky is being ripped apart by some demonic force. *homesick*
