a cheaper alternative
i sliced my finger open the other day making a bday present for my buddy... i pretty much rammed the chisel right in there with an ill positioned hammer swing. (ouch) although it doesn't hurt anymore, i've been using that liquid bandaid stuff to prevent it from opening up. the stuff works really well, but i can't stop peeling it off! the experience brings me back to grade school. i was one of *those* kids that used to spread elmers glue all over my hand, then anxiously wait for it to dry so i could peel it off in sheets. why is this so incredibly satisfying?! so, since i can't stop myself from doing this, i'm gonna go buy some elmers for this cut. i mean, it's sterile, peels well and it's loads cheaper than this liquid bandaid goo.

seanhead records!
one of the bands that my little brother is in is finally recording! it's made up of a bunch of carpenters and an electrician, thus the name: "Sparky & The Nailers". they are hard to describe, but in this line up, seanhead is drumming and occasionally playing the bass. there's hooting, hollering, tamborine, and the whole darn thing makes you wanna stomp your feet, cock one back in the chamber and shoot some beer cans off the banister. it's good time shit. I'll post mp3's when they get everything finished up. Go seanhead!
